Oct 15-17: Erecting walls the old fashioned way
The walls are built laying flat on the floor. The white Tyvek sheeting seen here on the west wall is for moisture control.
After the wall is assembled, it is raised into place and secured with temporary braces.
East and West walls are up...
Action shots of lifting the Sunroom wall. This is the heaviest section because the massive header lumber bridging above the windows.
Yours truly doing the honors of keeping the bottom from "kicking out" (sliding off the edge of the building). You can see the other side has a chunk of wood attached to the East wall to restrain it.
